Founding Father
Reading John Adams has opened my eyes to the caliber of men our Founding Fathers were. While I may not agree with some of their life styles, nor the way others handled their finances. I recognize their ambition, courage, honor, and education. These men were definitely capable of petty partisanship and at times chose not to enforce tough decisions such as slavery. In spite of their short comings, our forefathers were blessed with foresight and an extraordinary ability to keep the long view in sight. Is it any wonder why they still look good to us? Notice we are still studying and researching their lives some two hundred years later.

True. They were and still are great men! Of course they weren't perfect; after all, they were human too. Their imperfections don't negate their contributions and dedication.
